2D Animation
At first glance, creating animations seems very complicated. It used to be, but thanks to today’s increasingly user-friendly and easily accessible software, the situation is completely different now.
During the course, we will learn the basics of animation using a free program called Blender. Our goal is to help students through the steep initial learning curve of animation, giving them a solid foundation for further development, and last but not least, to have fun while giving free rein to our creativity.

2D Animation
What are we going to learn?
During our sessions, students learn how to create drawings on a computer using only a mouse, without the need for any kind of digital tablet. We learn how to create these drawings in a well–structured way so that they can be easily animated later. Finally, we learn animation itself, i.e., how to change the shape, position, color, or virtually any parameter of these drawings over time.

We will be making animations like this in the first few lessons!
About the projects
We have designed our curriculum so that project work requires an average of 4-5 sessions, allowing us to create more complex animations. However, we make sure that at the end of each session, there is at least some tangible result from the work done, which helps to maintain motivation. Such

Blender
During the course, we will be using free, open–source software. Blender is primarily a 3D software that can be used in many areas of computer graphics. In this course, we will be taking a closer look at Grease Pencil, a tool used for creating 2D animations.
